Daycare description / philosophy
Good Family Daycare offers a loving and caring environment just like home! We spend our days playing, learning, exploring and making friends. I provide nurturing family childcare with emphasis on a natural childhood through loving care, exploration, discovery, active and outdoor play, quality open ended toys, music, and arts & crafts.Healthy meals and snacks are provided (organic & local foods when available).
We celebrate the seasons and rhythm of nature and we love to sing, dance and do finger plays. When weather permits we spend a large amount of time outdoors, in the backyard, gardening, at playgrounds and on walks, having picnics, discovering nature, and playing with sand and water. Weekly themes ensure a variety of play and learning experiences.
As an experienced provider, I will provide a safe, clean, smoke-free, and respectful environment for your child to grow, learn, and have fun in. I have my current First-Aid/CPR certification, security clearance as well as Family Childcare Training.
